Imagine an open-space - hallway space, where brainstorm topic and boundaries are posted on the walls, enabling the team brainstorming to get even more input from people passing through... what if that one person that came by your brainstorm was the one with the key input to launch you to the next level ?=!

That is one cool idea. I'm sure some companies would have thought of it already though.
One of the reasons for this idea is the fact that i allways hear the word "diversity" when talking about brainstorming, but when comming to the actual activity companies tend to go into locked officespaces, making sure that only uniform people are present and hear the brainstorm, thus making the brainstorm not quite the powerfull event it could have been.
A development of this idea is to bring the topics of the brainstorms into spaces where people are instead of bringen people to the brainstorm. My idea is to put the sessions at a café. A café could have brain-sessions on specific times during the day, and the topics could be social/public topics choosen by the guests themselfs, or topics payed for by companies. Lage posters or screens in the café should display topic and mindmap - developing throughout the session. Guests will have keyboards at the table typing their input along with their friends...
I would appreciate more visual materials, to make your blog more attractive, but your writing style really compensates it. But there is always place for improvement
